Symptom poster for Rigshospitalet's cancer department.
In collaboration with Rigshospitalet's cancer department, we had to illustrate symptoms for
patients as well as relatives. I worked with 'Constipation' and the way to visualize the term so
that it was easy-to-understand.
Visualization of given information to incorporate and in a poster
I found inspiration in the artist Kathrine Barbro Bendixen. Her bowel sculptures show a natural product in a new context. This concept gave me the idea to convey the symptom 'constipation' by using a balloon. The balloon gives a humorous and easy-to-understand picture of the not so visual appetizing symptom
