Archetypes is more than a deck of cards. It’s a conversation starter, a design tool, and a way to make the RMIT Food Co-op more human, welcoming, and sustainable. Each card represents one of eight student archetypes, drawn from real stories, behaviours, and patterns observed in co-op life. These aren’t fixed personas or marketing profiles. They’re playful, layered snapshots of the kinds of people who bring the co-op to life. The purpose of this deck is to humanize service design, spark dialogue, and inspire more inclusive decisions. Whether you’re running a co-design workshop, onboarding new members, or reimagining the space, M8 helps you ask the right questions: Who are we designing for? Who are we leaving out?
