Communication of stress to relatives, introduction to subject: How can i create a visual tool that can help relatives cope with and understand stress? and in what way can this improve communication about stress between the person experiencing stress and their closest et relations?
In 2022, I took a leave of absence from my studies due to stress. During this time, I noticed how my family was affected by the situation. I was 23 years old and living in a student apartment in Copenhagen. The fact that I was "alone" was one of the concerns I sensed from my parents. Their worries were reflected in poor communication and a lack of understanding of what stress really entailed. Stress can be difficult to comprehend if you haven’t experienced it yourself. This book, therefore, aims to improve the understanding of the situation for those suffering from stress.
Illustrations of stress signals are used to demonstrate how symptoms progress from positive to negative. Throughout the book, the transition is depicted from "good stress," which we recognize when performing at our best, to "bad stress," which gradually turns into a persistent condition that is difficult to shake off.
